Additionally, there is a notice from the Church Board for your consideration:

"The Church Board would like to invite your feedback ahead of our time of Prayer, Reflection and Planning on Saturday March 1st.
If you could please respond to these questions to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by Wednesday February 26th that would be greatly appreciated. Short or long responses welcome.

1. What does the church do well in serving God and our community?
2. What could the church do better in serving God and our community?
3. What are some opportunities we miss?
4. How would you be willing to be involved in a new/different way?"

Also, a notice for those of you able to attend the upcoming Ash Wednesday Service:

"Ash Wednesday Service: Wednesday, 5 March, 19:30, at the church. This marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent, which is preparation for the Passion of Christ on Good Friday, and celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. The Lenten period of 40 days (not including Sundays) reflects the period of Jesus' temptation in the wilderness, and some will choose to mark this whole period by prayer, fasting, or abstinence. In the service ashes are 'imposed' on foreheads as a sign of mourning and repentance; readings, hymns, and periods of silence for quiet meditation offer opportunity to prepare our hearts and lives to appreciate more fully the grace of God in giving his only Son for the world. The service is open for all to attend."
